About digital drawings
Printed digital drawings are original multiples. They are original in the sense that they are created in the same medium in which they are printed (unlike reproductions, which are created in one medium and reproduced in another). They are multiples in the sense that a number of copies, called the edition, are made of the image.
These images are drawn by hand in Corel Painter using a digitizing tablet and pen. They are not reproductions, scans, or manipulated photographs.
The digital file is to an inkjet print as the crayon drawing on a stone is to a lithograph. Like lithographs, digital drawings are original fine-art handmade multiples.
